Telephone Sales Engineers

We are seeking to expand our high achieving sales team to meet our growth targets. As a Sales Engineer you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for assisting in the development of the business and achieving sales targets covering all areas of the business.

As a Sales Engineer you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for assisting in the development of the business and achieving sales targets covering all areas of the business.
Primarily based at their offices in Thornaby (although this position is seen as being 50% office based and 50% client visiting) you will be required to:
* Build relationships with existing clients and distributors
* Seek out new business
* Determine requirements, prepare quotations and close business
* Assist in the preparation of tender documents
* Submit recommendations on new sales/marketing initiatives having researched the market
Essential Skills:
* Qualified Telephone Engineer with experience of telephone systems would be an advantage
* Proven sales track record an advantage
* Motivated to operate on own initiative
* Excellent inter personal skills
* Confident in dealing with clients face to face and over the telephone
* Computer literate
* Must be able to work as part of a team
The company will provide appropriate training and you will be supported by the administration team and telephone engineers.
